Back To School

Our lead singer Dan headed back to school this week, and it has got us thinking about wanting to play shows at different colleges all across the country. From our experience, universities often put on many comedy shows, plays, and debates, but when it comes to rock n roll shows they seem lost on how to make it happen. We have some awesome ideas about taking our show on the road, but we need our fans help to get us plugged in. So hit us up if you want us to come to your school, and lets make this happen!

Planning Our Next Video

So yesterday was a big day for us. Mark got back into town from Oregon, Matt and Dan met with Cody Gooding (The director for our video of "When You're Gone"), and Tim was doing secret drummer stuff... Anyway, the planning for our next music video is well underway, and we are all really excited to start shooting. It's looking like we will be filming the video at a Denver area high school, so keep your eyes open for us walking down your hall way between 3rd and 4th period!!!

Pretty Mouth

This Saturday night Dan Aid and Tim Reed from the Denver based rock n roll band, White Leather, will be playing with their good friends Pretty Mouth, for a special show in Pueblo, CO. Dan and Tim have been filling in on guitar and drums for the band for a couple of shows over the past month, and this Saturdays show should be amazing. The boys from White Leather are excited to be playing the show, but also can't wait to get back to town where they, along with guitarist Matt Chimes and Bassist Mark Hibl, will go into Colorado Sound Studios to finish up the final mix for a new song entitled "When You're Gone".

Studio Update

So we've been in the studio for the past couple of months working on two brand new tunes and we're getting very close to finishing up! We want to make the release of these new songs a big event, and we want to package them in some cool new way. We are asking our fans to submit artwork, that we will judge and the winners design will be on the cover of our new single "When You're Gone"!!!

Zumiez Couch Tour

Went down to southwest plaza mall today to meet up with my friend Tommy and check out the annual Couch Tour. Some great local skaters from 303 board shop were there along with some pro's including Rodney Mullen, who didn't skate but was in Denver today meeting with Vestal reps. We didn't get a chance to check out the bands but the skater kids were out in full force for the event. A good time was had by all!

"Hot 32" Semi-Finals

We just won our preliminary round of Westword magazine's Hot 32 competition! While Mark is still off traveling around Europe, Joe Mondragon is helping us out on bass. We've had a very positive response to our last couple of shows, and we're stoked to come back to Herman's Hideaway on Aug 6th for the semi-finals round! We also have a show coming up July 3rd at The Bluebird Theatre, and we have some discount tickets, so hit us up if you want some.
